Every routine exam at our office includes a careful oral cancer screening at no extra charge. Dr. Simeon examines your lips, tongue, cheeks, palate, and throat, and gently checks your jaw and neck for anything unusual.
Why it matters
Early oral cancer is usually painless and easy to miss at home. Found early, it is highly treatable — which makes this simple screening one of the most valuable two minutes in dentistry. Patients who use tobacco or alcohol, and adults over 40, benefit most from consistent screening, but we screen every adult at every exam.
Between visits, tell us about any sore that doesn’t heal within two weeks, persistent patches, lumps, or numbness.
